Description
Betty is a sweet, pretty 6 month old kitten who came in to rescue last month due to her previous owners needing to reduce the number of cats they owned. Several of their cats had had unwanted litters of kittens so numbers had quickly got out of hand. We have neutered some of their cats and will be neutering more soon.
Betty can be a little timid when she first meets you and may take a bit of time to feel comfortable, but once she gets to know you she is a very affectionate little girl who enjoys fuss and companionship, and loves to curl up on your lap!
She came from a busy home with lots of other cats, dogs and children, so understandably, she seems to really appreciate having her own space. Because of this, we feel Betty would be happiest as the only cat in her new home, where she gets lots of attention to herself.
Betty previously lived with dogs and could potentially live with a calm, cat-friendly dog with careful introductions. She can be quite easily spooked by sudden noises, so a quieter home with older children would suit her best.
Betty is in foster in Padworth.
Rehoming criteria:
- Some experience with cats
- Can live with older children
- Can live with dogs
- Prefer no cats
- Outside access to a garden
- Can be left half a working day
The minimum adoption fee is £205 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
