Description
We are delighted to offer a beautiful, carefully bred litter of 7 Kennel Club registered black Labrador Retriever puppies, combining outstanding Field Trial Champion (FT CH) bloodlines with a calm, well-balanced and affectionate temperament.
The sire, Astraglen Oaks at Rylandson, ‘Clyde’, is a striking, well-bred dog from elite working lines, combining intelligence, trainability and a superb temperament. Clyde’s pedigree is heavily represented by field trail champions (FT CH), including Irish champions, throughout multiple generations. He is fully health checked and clear of PRCD-PRA, CNM, MCD, HNPK, EIC, SD2, STGD. He has a BVA clear eye certificate. His BVA hip score is 5:3, and elbow score is 0:0.
The dam, Midnight Ember Blaze, ‘Eve’, is our much-loved family pet and complements the traits of Clyde beautifully. She has an excellent temperament and is kind, biddable and affectionate, making her a joy to live with. She is comprehensively health checked and clear of CNM, MCD, PRCD-PRA, SD2 and STGD. She has a BVA clear eye certificate, hip score of 6:2 and elbow score of 0:0
Eve has such a wonderful nature that we made the decision to breed from her in order to keep a puppy ourselves. Because of this, it was incredibly important to us to choose the right sire and create the best possible pairing, prioritising health, temperament and pedigree. The Coefficient of Inbreeding (CoI) is 4.7%, well below the breed average of 6.5% and will produce puppies that are:
• Highly trainable
• Naturally intelligent
• Well-balanced temperament
• Suitable for both active homes and working environments.
The puppies are being raised properly within our home with constant care and attention. On leaving, they will be:
• Well socialised,
• Used to everyday household sights and sounds,
• Vet health checked,
• KC registered,
• Microchipped,
• Wormed with Panacur at 2, 5 and 8 weeks,
• First vaccinations
The puppies will leave with a comprehensive puppy pack, containing:
• 5 weeks free KC insurance
• 5 days of kibble
• Blanket with mothers/litter mates scent
• Some toys,
• A diary of their first 8 weeks, including photos and weight progression
• Information on feeding regime and daily routine
• Ongoing advice and support
At this early stage, puppies are still developing and individual personalities are not yet fully established. Viewings will therefore begin from 24th May when they will be 5 weeks of age, once puppies are more interactive and can match them appropriately to their future homes. However, feel free to get in touch prior to this date to discuss suitability but we are looking for serious buyers only that can provide a suitable home and understand the needs of a Labrador. They can leave to their forever homes when they are 8 weeks old, from 14th June onwards. A deposit of £350 will secure your chosen pup.
