Bullpei (English Bulldog x Shar Pei) – Male – Born 13th October 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our much-loved Bullpei, Bowie.
Born on 13th October 2025, he is a young, affectionate and playful dog with lots of character. He enjoys being around people, loves attention, and has all the typical enthusiasm and energy of a young dog.
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, and despite him being socialised and getting on with other dogs outside the home, he and our older dog have not formed a successful relationship. We have sought advice and implemented recommended management strategies, but it has become clear that they would both be happier living separately. As we do not have the space to permanently separate them within our home, we have made the difficult decision to find him a new family while he is still young enough to settle easily into a new environment.
We are looking for a loving, responsible home that can provide him with the time, attention and ongoing training that every young dog needs. We believe he would thrive as the only dog in the household, or with owners who have the experience, facilities and time to carefully assess and manage introductions with other pets.
This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and finding the right home is far more important to us than a quick rehoming. We will therefore be asking questions about potential homes to ensure the best possible match.
Bowie:
- Is house trained
- Has not been neutered
- We have 2 children (12&9) and he is good with them
- He’s friendly to strangers
- Walks well on the lead and we’ve been working on recall
- He’s crate trained- he sleeps and travels in his crate/travel crate and can be left for time periods
- Fully vaccinated
