This is Sadie! Sadie is Jackchi (chihuahua/jackrussell) mix.
Sadie is a lovely dog after meeting and warming to you. She can be very nervous due to a previous bad situation, we rehomed Sadie, and we believe we haven’t been told everything about her.
She is a lovely girl and wants nothing more then to curl up next to you on a sofa for cuddles, she loves her walks, in fact it’s her favourite thing to do, she uses a retractable lead, I will always keep her on leash in public areas and footpaths due to her nervousness, she likes to bark…a lot.
But apart from that it will be a very peaceful happy walk, she does not pull.
Loves her food and treats, she will happily sit in the hopes of getting some scraps, but don’t leave your food unattended!
There are a few things you must know before considering Sadie as your new companion! She will be nervous on meeting, but generally will warm after some time, food is a great help for stealing your heart! However….sadie does love food a bit too much and resource guard. Which is something we didn’t know upon taking her in. She will not only resource guard her food, she will with toys and other things. If it’s her in possession she will guard it, and unfortunately, I have 3 young children, one being autistic and very handsome on, therefore this is not safe.
Their will be some work to do with Sadie, and i believe she will become the best little companion, she is already very loving and playful, but needs a lot of training, which I cannot provide, I wouldn’t have taken her if I had have known about this.
We need somebody, who is single or a couple, NO children! Due to safety reasons, someone ideally who is experienced in training stubborn dogs and would be able to ease her resource guarding.
