I have Melon here who is a 1 and half year old crested cockatoo that is an absolute beauty. She is the perfect parrot. She loves to mimic and speak to you and talk and say words such as hello hiya how you doing. She also loves dancing to music and whistling whilst doing so. They can live for over 80 years so they are a very good lifelong companion. She will fly to you and sit on your lap or shoulder to snuggle with you. She does like to impress you and acting like a baby. She goes in the garden sometimes to forage the grass and have some fun and comes back as I’ve had her since a baby.
