Description
Bailey is a loving and affectionate British Bulldog looking for the right forever home due to a change in our family circumstances. He is a wonderful dog with a big personality and lots of love to give, but since welcoming two young children into our home, Bailey has found the busy environment overwhelming. While he has never hurt anyone, he has shown signs of aggression towards young children, so for everyone’s safety we feel he would be much happier and more settled in an adult-only home. Bailey thrives in a calm, structured environment where he can relax and enjoy attention at his own pace. He bonds strongly with his owners and is incredibly loyal and affectionate once comfortable. He is generally sociable with other dogs; however, he was previously attacked, so introductions need to be handled carefully and situations read properly to avoid tension. Because of this, an experienced owner who understands dog behaviour would be ideal. Health-wise, Bailey is in good condition and fully up to date with vaccinations. He previously had surgery on his neck to remove a skin condition, which has healed well and has not returned. He also previously had a temporary castration implant, but this has now worn off and he is back to his normal happy and energetic self. We are committed to finding Bailey the right home, not just a quick one. He would suit: An adult-only household Someone experienced with bulldogs or similar breeds A calm home environment where he can feel secure This is a very difficult decision for us, and we want Bailey to go to a loving home where he can thrive and get the attention he deserves.
