Description

Beautiful Juvenile Angelfish – Panda & Platinum Line (Home-Bred) I’m pleased to offer a stunning batch of home-bred juvenile angelfish, raised with care in a healthy community aquarium. These young fish come from a striking pairing: a female Panda Angelfish and a male Platinum Angelfish, resulting in a lovely mix of offspring. Some display the elegant solid platinum colouring, while others show the distinctive and highly sought-after panda patterning. The parents spawned approximately 50 eggs on 1st January 2026, which were carefully transferred to a dedicated nursery tank and treated with methylene blue to ensure optimal survival. The fry were initially fed on live baby brine shrimp for around two weeks, before being gradually weaned onto high-quality fry food. They are now thriving, active, and growing well. As shown in the photos and video, there is a range of sizes currently available, with some larger individuals developing beautiful finnage and coloration already. Availability The larger juveniles are expected to be ready for collection from early May onwards.
Reserve now to avoid disappointment – I’m happy to hold your chosen fish and provide updates on their progress until collection. Basic Angelfish Care Information Angelfish are a popular and rewarding freshwater species, known for their graceful appearance and calm temperament. Tank Size: A minimum of 100 litres (around 20 gallons) is recommended for a small group, though larger tanks are ideal as they grow. Angelfish can reach up to 6 inches in body size (excluding fins), so vertical space is important. Water Conditions: They prefer warm, stable water between 24–28°C, with slightly soft to neutral pH. Diet: Omnivorous – they thrive on a varied diet including quality flakes/pellets, frozen foods, and live foods. Tank Mates:
Best kept with peaceful, similarly sized fish. Avoid fin-nippers. Behaviour:
Generally calm but can become territorial when pairing or breeding. These angelfish have been raised in a well-maintained environment and are a fantastic addition whether you’re starting out or adding to an established tank. Feel free to message with any questions or to reserve your fish.
