🐾🏠 HI, I’M NORA - AND I’M LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER HOME IN CORNWALL OR DEVON
Hello lovely human ♥
My name is Nora, and I’m told I’m just the sweetest little pup. I’ve had quite a journey so far, and I’m hoping with all my heart that someone out there is looking for a girl just like me…
Rescue story:
My sister Nelly and I were found as tiny puppies, alone, freezing cold and starving. Our mum never came back and we were very weak when help finally arrived.
We were taken to safety and given warmth, food and care to help us survive. We were so cold, hungry and scared. We made it! And Paws2Freedom with the dedicated help of Bojan the shelter owner who drove a loooong way to the special place, we were moved us to a calm boarding home where we could recover from everything we’d been through.
I’m now in the UK - safe, loved and learning how to be a confident young dog, I just need the chance to continue that journey in a forever home.

Yes – I’ve shown no issues with cats while I was in Bosnia
Behaviour / Temperament / Unique traits / Training needs:
I have started going out on walks to the woods and around where my foster home is. I have even been to the pub on a quiet day. I loved it! So much attention – I was in my element!
I’m lively, inquisitive, playful and very much still an excitable puppy. The world is just such and adventure and full of wonders! I’m super friendly and everyone I meet seems to fall in love with me.
I love attention, interaction and being close to people. In fact if it was up to me I would be with you virtually all the time.
I’ve got a clever little brain that enjoys learning, but I can be a little stubborn and wilful too.
In my previous life, I was allowed to run around freely with lots of other dogs and didn’t have any training, structure or boundaries. Because of that, I’m now learning what home life is all about in my foster home. Things like routine, calm behaviour and house manners. I’m doing well, but I’m still very much a puppy-work in progress.
To make sure that you know I am there, I jump up to say hello and I love to hug you.
I get very excited at squirrels and birds and would really love to run after them. But I am not allowed off my long line yet, as my training still needs to be done. I have not been in foster long and training is something I really need to keep me safe.
When I’m left unsupervised, I’ve been known to chew my bed or toys. This isn’t because I’m naughty, I am simply a puppy and just need guidance, stimulation, supervision and company. I need a home that understands young, energetic dogs and is committed to training, enrichment and consistency.
I could live with another dog who enjoys plays of chase and can help burn off my energy or I could live as an only dog in the right experienced home, as long as my humans can give me plenty of stimulation, companionship and time.
Sometimes I bark at the window when I see something out there or my foster sister Rosie does, and I then join in. I also bark at dogs when they are in the distance, because I want to run over and say hello...not an option on the lead. So I need to learn to be patient.
House trained:
Mostly, ...I’m doing really well but still have the occasional indoor accident when I get too excited
Blood tested / Health:
I’m healthy and feeling great. I’ve tested negative for Ehrlichia, Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis and Heartworm, and I have also tested negative for Brucella, Leishmaniasis, Babesia and Giardia.
🏡 My Ideal Home:
I’m looking for an experienced, active home that understands I’m still a puppy and need time, training, structure and patience.
A securely fenced garden is essential for me, somewhere I can run, play, train, sniff and relax while I adjust to the world.
I would love to live with a friendly, confident dog who can play with me and help guide me, but I could also live as an only dog in the right calm, experienced home where I’m not left bored or lonely.
I’ll thrive with people who enjoy training, enrichment and building a bond with a young dog who has had a difficult start but so much potential.
I’m full of joy, energy and love. I just need someone to help me grow into the even more amazing dog I know I can be ( I am already fab now, if I may say so!).
