Ella is currently in Bedford UK, she is 7 years old, about 23 kilos and due to her family circumstances changing, she is unfortunately looking for a new home.
She has been with her family for 4.5 years

Ella hasn’t had the easiest start in life.
She was found as a stray in Cyprus and came to me in 2021 at around 3 years old, frightened, unsure of the world, and carrying the weight of whatever she had been through on the streets. Everything was new to her, and everything was scary.
Over time, with patience and love, Ella has slowly learned that not all humans are unkind. The nervous, shut-down dog I first met has grown into a gentle, affectionate soul who just wants to feel safe.
When Ella trusts you, she really trusts you. She’ll come over softly, offer you her paw, and stay close by your side. Those moments feel earned because they are. But they’re also incredibly special.
She does still find the world overwhelming at times. New people can worry her, and she needs space and patience to feel comfortable. She may growl if she’s scared, but she has never bitten, her instinct is always to walk away. She just needs someone who understands that fear, and doesn’t rush her through it.
On walks, Ella is a lovely companion. She stays by your side, happily sniffing along the way and trusting you to guide her, even in unfamiliar places. She can get excited when she sees other dogs and may pull to go over, so she’s walked on a halter to help keep things calm and controlled.
Food is one of Ella’s simple joys in life. She absolutely loves her meals and treats, but rather than guarding them, she will quietly step away if someone gets too close. It’s a small, heartbreaking reminder of her past, where she likely had to fend for herself.
At home, Ella is clean, well-behaved, and understands basic commands. She’ll let you know when she needs to go out, and she even knows “middle.” She wants to please you can see it in her.
Ella currently lives with a gentle Border Collie who has been her safe place. She adores him. He has shown her kindness, patience, and how to feel secure. When they play, she can be a little rough and playful, but he takes it all in stride. A calm, understanding dog like him could really help Ella continue to blossom.

She needs time. She needs patience. She needs someone who will see past her fears and understand her heart.

Ella is best suited to an adult only home, calm and quiet surroundings, where she can enjoy a peaceful life whilst she learns to trust again.
Someone that has previous experience with her breed, and will understand her needs and able to continue with training, that she enjoys.
She will be very happy to live with another dog, and must have a safe and secured garden.
Ella is healthy, spayed and up to date with her vaccinations
