Misha is a young mum with the eyes of someone who has seen too much — and yet still dares to hope.
She was rescued from a killing shelter together with her four puppies: Marley, Morgan, Mila and Maxie. Thanks to that timely rescue, Misha and her little family were brought to safety in a private shelter, where she could finally do what she did best: be a devoted, loving mother.
And what a mother she was.
Misha cared for her babies with endless patience and dedication. She put their needs before her own, even to the point where, weeks later, her puppies had to be separated from her so she could finally regain strength and get enough food herself. That is the kind of mum Misha is — selfless, gentle, and deeply loving.
During this time, Misha lived together with her pups and with Kenji, who offered her calm support and companionship. Kenji is now slowly preparing to spread his own wings, and we hope with all our hearts that Misha will not be left behind, alone in her kennel, after having given so much love.
Misha deserves her own golden basket.
A home where she can finally rest.
A place where loss is softened by kindness.
A family who will show her that life can still be beautiful.
🌸 Personality:
Misha is a shy and sensitive girl, gentle by nature and careful with new people. She is not a dog who will rush up for attention — she needs time, patience and understanding. With the right people, she will slowly begin to bloom, just like a delicate flower opening at its own pace.
We are looking for adopters who:
Have no high expectations at the start
Understand shy dogs and will give her time
Believe that trust is something you earn gently
Those who do will be rewarded with a dog whose love is quiet, deep and incredibly sincere.
📏 Size:
Misha is a compact medium-sized girl, approximately 40–45 cm at the shoulder.
She has a beautiful, well-balanced body structure. Exact measurements can be taken if desired.
🐾 Appearance & possible mix:
Misha is absolutely stunning. She has a rich brindle coat, a graceful yet sturdy build, and the most wise, soft eyes — eyes that speak of resilience and gentleness.
Genetically, Misha clearly falls within the shepherd-type dogs, possibly mixed with local breeds. As with most rescue dogs, her exact heritage is unknown — but her beauty and presence are undeniable.

Misha is a name often associated with gentleness, protection and warmth — fitting for a dog who gave everything to keep her babies safe and loved.
🌳 What kind of home is Misha looking for?
Misha longs for a calm, patient home where she can finally start her life. A home that will help her heal from the loss of her puppies and from saying goodbye to Kenji.
A secure garden would be ideal, but most important is a peaceful environment, gentle routines and people who will let her move forward at her own pace.

We place our dogs only with genuine dog lovers, with a private garden and no children under the age of 10.
Our dogs are family companions — not working, therapy or assistance dogs.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
