Description
Leo has been with me since he was 8 weeks old, and he’s been my constant companion ever since. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to being self-employed and working long hours, I can no longer give him the time, attention, and mental stimulation he truly needs and deserves.
I am looking for a knowledgeable and experienced home for Leo — ideally someone with land (such as a farm) or a person who works from home and can provide him with consistent companionship and engagement.
Leo is a Boerboel cross, so he is naturally protective and requires a confident owner who understands large, guardian-type breeds. In the right environment, he is an extremely loving, loyal dog who thrives on attention and being close to his person.
He is good with children, although he can be wary at first, so slow and appropriate introductions are important. He will try to play with cats but does not realise his size, so may unintentionally scare them. With other dogs, he can be mixed with males, but generally gets on very well with females and is playful.
Leo is not neutered, and I would recommend this for any future owner. He has been bred from previously, although this was never my intention.
This is not a decision I am taking lightly. Leo will only go to a home that I truly believe is right for him — his welfare and future are my absolute priority. I am happy to answer any questions and take the time to ensure the right match is found.
