Seeking a loving caring forever home for 10 week old Sidney (name can be changed!) a delightful black Dachshund X Cocker Spaniel. He has been microchipped and had his first inoculations - the second lot are due in 2 weeks. He is also up to date with worming. We are looking for a home for him where he is going to have people around for most of the time and/or another dog is around, as this breed don’t seem to cope well with being left alone for long. I have been working hard to socialise him, carrying him around out and about in a sling to get him used to traffic, people, other dogs etc. without actually exposing him to potential dangers to his health, as he's not fully protected until a week after his 2nd jabs. He's seen wildlife in the garden, eg squirrels and pigeons and a cat, but hasn't yet been around children. He seems fine with the vacuum cleaner, washing machine etc. He loves to play with a variety of toys and is a real lively bundle of fun; he loves it sit on your lap and follow you around everywhere! His mother is a standard tan Dachshund. His father is a black Cocker Spaniel. He will come with a small furry bed, Pooch and Mutt puppy food and a few toys that he has got attached to.
