4yo Toy Poodle Girl - PET home only.
KC registered, well bred, DNA health tested, patella 0/0 and BVA eye tested 4 yo brown girl looking for a retirement sofa.
This is a REALLY hard advert to write so please no timewasters. Only looking at potential new mummy or daddy as she does not thrive in a multiple dog house. A friend locally was having her but has had a change of heart and is having a puppy instead. She is very small and gets picked on. So I have made the very sad decision that now she can’t be shown as she faded nor have any more babies (both of which she loved!), I won’t flatter myself and think I am the best home for her during the next 10 years.
She has been successfully shown at National level, including being placed at Crufts. She is used to being able to sit on sofas all day - so no people who won’t allow that. She is crate trained at night but would love to be a bed sleeper! She will ask to go out in the garden and is quite good - but as I have a few, I can make no promises on house training- but she is pretty clean I think. She loves walks- brilliant off the lead. She wouldn’t appreciate a windy and rainy day walk though and would rather watch a film.
She likes to be with her humans all the time, including toilet trips - so no one that needs personal space. Used to being left alone for short periods. She can get a bit dribbly in the car but not always. She just isn’t the greatest traveller.
I am looking for someone who is ideally retired, at home all the time, will insure her incase something happens, has a caravan by the sea, will feed her corners of their sandwich, not get cross if she begs to come to the toilet with her, will let her sit on their lap all day, will tell her she’s beautiful every morning and kiss her goodnight every bedtime.
Maybe some of those are negotiable- but not all!
She is NOT a rescue! She is NOT being thrown out by a horrible breeder who is bored of her. She is just a little dog who would get more from a home that can give her the undivided attention she deserves.
She will come without her paper work, but it can be seen. She is microchipped and upto date with worming. She has always been vaccinated but they would need restarting as were due when she last had pups.
She would cope with another dog if she could have prime lap spot. She’s not lived with cats but I think she would be ok. She’s not been used to living with children - I’m not sure fulltime kids would be fair but she’s fine with friends children.
She will take a little while to settle no one need apply who will be hysterical after 48 hours. There will be a contract to say she must come back to me if she ever needed to. I couldn’t bear the thought of losing touch.
Photo is of her now clipped off and how she looked when shown. She prefers to be shorter I think! But it could be grown into what ever you wanted.
