It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our much-loved cat, Jet.
Jet is a handsome male cat who will be 3 years old in August. He has been a much-loved member of our family and this decision has been incredibly difficult to make.
Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, I am no longer working from home and I am unable to have a cat flap installed. This means Jet is spending too much time either shut indoors or unable to come and go freely, which isn’t fair on him. My son’s eczema has also recently become much worse and we believe that having a cat in the home may be contributing to this.
Jet is a gentle, sweet-natured cat who is good with children. He can be a little timid at first and may take some time to settle into a new environment, but once he feels comfortable he enjoys affection and being around people.
We feel Jet would be happiest in a loving home where he can have the attention he deserves and access to the outdoors. Finding the right forever home is far more important to us than finding a home quickly.
