Marie – 3-Year-Old Indoor Cat Looking for the Right Home
Marie is a 3-year-old indoor cat who is best suited to a calm, indoor-only environment. She is independent, intelligent, and playful, and enjoys being in her own space most of the time. She is litter trained and has not been neutered.
Marie gets along with other cats and can live with dogs, but she will need time to adjust. She has previously lived a male Rottweiler/Doberman (he was a puppy when we introduced him to Marie). If you have a dog, it’s important that you insure they are calm and cat-friendly before considering purchasing Marie.
She does not scratch or bite. However, she may growl occasionally as a warning if she doesn’t want to be picked up, so her boundaries should be respected.
Marie is not used to young children (the youngest she has been around is 11), so a home without small children would be most suitable.
She is quite vocal, especially around feeding time, and will definitely let you know when she’s hungry. While she enjoys her independence and doesn’t seek constant attention, she will come to you on her own terms for affection.
Marie would do best with an owner who understands and respects her independent nature and can provide her with a safe, quiet indoor home.
