Description

Teddy is a gorgeous, loving boy with a big personality. He is a typical Velcro spaniel, he loves to be around people Unfortunately our other dog is not getting along with him, he wants to play and my other dog is territorial. Teddy has been raised around kids, though I wouldn’t recommend smaller children and baby’s as he is a bouncing ball of energy. He loves his walks, though he does pull quite strongly on his lead, he has good recall and doesn’t wonder or run off without you, he prefers to stay where he can see you. Experienced cocker spaniel owners only. He has had some training but will need more. He whines or barks to let you know that he needs to go out for the toilet - be prepared for a 2am wake up call from him because he needs to go out. He is an early riser and is up and full of beans at 6am. He has never been left home alone for long periods, so someone who works long hours would not be suitable. He needs a lot of exercise and a lot of mental stimulation. You are welcome to come and meet him. He really is a good and loving boy, our home just is not suitable for him. I am not his original owner, he has had 1 previous owner - so I want him to go to a home that is fully committed to him and knows what they’re doing. I will only let him go to where I think 100% matches his needs. He does love to be outside, even in heavy rain and has shown some hunting tendencies - though probably not enough to be a fully working cocker. He is on dried food at the moment from Tails.com.
