Full Advert Details

Unsexed Django (The 'D' is silent, indeed, just like the film) is my lovely corn snake of whom I have had for just over 6 years.

He is a happy and active Corn Snake with a multitude of orange shades as shown in photos.

Django has been a great companion for the entire time I have had him since a baby corn snake. It is only with regret that due to us now having a new born baby and existing pets - I can not offer him the time and commitment he so rightfully deserves!

My only hope is he goes to a good home who will show him the same love and care he has experienced and is priced accordingly.

Will be provided with a transport vivarium that can be kept - length of snake (Django) is close to 5ft and transport vivarium is approximately 915mm length by 382mm depth and 230mm height which opens from the top and is clipped on one side.

Most recently fed 24th February 2019 and will come with one frozen mouse for next feeding if required as well as a heat mat.

As suggested on Pets4homes.co.uk, I agree that you can return Django(snake) within 48 hours for a full refund of listed price after taking the pet to a Vet of your choice for a health check if the outcome is not satisfactory - but he is healthy and you will be welcome to hand hold him and see for yourself to put you at ease.

Safety Notice from Pets4Homes - NEVER send money for a deposit or pay for a pet online. ALWAYS visit the advertisers home to view the pet and confirm they are genuine. Before contacting the seller, you MUST read our Pet Buying/Adoption Checklist below.

Reptile Buying Checklist

Before contacting or visiting the advertiser for this Corn Snake. Please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT buy a pet from the advertiser unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list.

  • Do your research first
Getting a new reptile is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched the breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the reptile. You can read our detailed Information guide about reptiles for potential new reptile owners.
  • Confirm that the advertiser is genuine
You should verify this by arranging to visit the pet at the advertisers home, if they make excuses or try to ask for money or a deposit without seeing the pet, or if the advertiser attempts to deliver the pet or meet you at any other location than their own home, then please do not agree to this. NEVER send money online for any pet. Please read our article on avoiding potential scams.
If you are unsure that the advertiser is genuine, please report them to us.
  • Is the reptile old enough to leave its mother?
The majority of Reptiles, including Snakes, Lizards, Turtles and Tortoises must be at least 8 weeks old before they can leave their mothers.
  • Confirm advertiser has CITES Article 10 Certificate
Certain reptiles such as some tortoises (Hermann's, Spur-Thighed and Marginated) and some species of snakes (Boa Constrictor and the Reticulated, Royal and Indian Pythons) are covered by CITES regulations. Look for confirmation that the seller is in possession of the relevant CITES Article 10 certificate, and if you do ultimately buy the animal, ensure that a copy of the certificate is provided to you. Please read our article on CITES and the advertising of endangered pets.
If you think the advertiser does not have the relevant paperwork, please report them to us.
  • Check the Health of the reptile
It can be difficult for the average person to check if a pet is healthy or not, so if you decide to adopt or buy the pet, make sure that the seller agrees that you can return them within 48 hours for a full refund after taking the pet to a Vet of your choice for a health check. The seller should be willing to let you do this. If the pet has already been health checked by their own vet, make sure you get evidence for this in the form of vet records and phone their vet to confirm this.
