Description

Male | Estimated D.o.B.: 15 July 2023 |Approx. 14 Kg Shepherd–Terrier Cross (best estimate) Microchipped | Fully Vaccinated | Neutered STORMY’s Story Stormy was wandering alone through the streets of a small town — invisible to most, but not to our friend Aurelia. She spotted him while driving and immediately stopped, but he was too frightened to be caught. He was scruffy, dirty, clearly underweight and extremely frightened. He had learned not to trust. He kept his distance. Cars passed. Danger was everywhere. Knowing he would not survive long on his own — whether from traffic or being taken to a kill shelter — Aurelia acted fast. A local vet came immediately with a tranquilising dart, and together they secured him safely. That day, Stormy’s life changed. Personality & Character Stormy is a sensitive, intelligent and independent young dog. He carries himself with a quiet awareness, always observing, always thinking. We believe he is a Shepherd–Terrier type cross — and it shows. He has the intelligence, loyalty and alertness typical of shepherd breeds, combined with a terrier’s curious and slightly adventurous spirit. He has escaped from Aurelia’s property several times — yet each time, he returned on his own. That tells us something important: he explores, but he bonds. He does not want to disappear. He simply needs security, structure and a place that is truly his. Once he feels safe, he leans into gentle hands. There is something deeply touching in the way he looks at you — a mixture of caution and hope. Health & Status • Microchipped • Fully vaccinated • Neutered • Weight: approximately 14 Kg Stormy is now healthy, safe and ready for a stable and loving future. Stormy’s Ideal Home Stormy will require a secure, committed and patient home. ✔ A securely fenced garden (non-negotiable) ✔ An experienced adopter familiar with rescue dogs ✔ Calm leadership and consistent boundaries ✔ Time and patience to allow him to decompress fully He is not suitable for first-time dog owners or homes where doors and gates are frequently left open. With the right guidance and stability, Stormy will grow into an exceptionally loyal and devoted companion. He is the kind of dog who bonds deeply — once you have earned his trust. Adoption Information Friends InDeed is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing vulnerable dogs and cats. We are transparent and responsible in our work and expect serious commitment from adopters. Home check (including online when necessary) is mandatory. We can transport Stormy almost anywhere in the country. You do not pay anything until you meet him. If you adopt Stormy, you agree that he will live as a cherished family pet, receive proper veterinary care and remain in contact with us through regular updates and photos. Serious enquiries only, please. Stormy survived because someone stopped the car and chose to care. Now he needs someone who will choose him — for life. Adrian & Maria Friends InDeed Dog & Cat Rescue

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
