Description
Our handsome rooster George is looking for a loving new home.
He’s fantastic with his flock and takes his job seriously, always keeping a watchful eye out for predators while his hens are busy eating. He’s a caring and attentive boy who regularly calls his hens over when he finds food, makes sure everyone is accounted for, and encourages them into the coop to roost safely at night.
He’s protective without being overly dominant, keeps good order within the flock, and is a wonderful example of what a good rooster should be. His hens are well looked after, and he spends much of his day keeping watch and looking out for their welfare.
Unfortunately, he has taken a dislike to my Mum, and she is understandably a little wary of him. He gets on very well with my Dad but for this reason, we feel it’s best to find him a loving new home where he can continue to thrive and look after a flock.
We’d love him to go to an experienced keeper who will appreciate what a caring and dedicated rooster he is to his flock. 🐓❤️
