For a loving kind forever home only.
Sadly I have room for only one boy.
Volkan is a cross between a handsome tailed bearded blue araucana and a gorgeous gold silkie, so expect he carries the blue egg gene meaning his female offspring will likely lay green eggs.
Hatched indoors and raised as a pet, his gold and orange feathers are appearing with maturity getting progressively more beautiful.
Finger trained, eats from hand and enjoys cuddles though understandably has lately become skittish, with his dad so close by and some bossy ladies!
Raised on organic pellets, now kept on ‘growers’ (to limit the calcium he gets from sharing the hens layers pellets). All mine also get fresh veg and health-building treats like blueberries, Black Oil Sunflower seeds, unhulled sesame seeds every day and occasionally mixed corn. Water is supplemented with Oregano Stim, apple cider vinegar with the mother and occasionally vit B. All organic whenever possible. So he is extremely healthy, strong and fit.
Recently treated prophylactically against worms with Flubendazole and Coccidia with Amprolium.
Awaiting order of Beryl’s friendly bacteria (at time of writing) which will help strengthen his immune system before he is rehomed.
I have a healthy, very loved small back garden flock (my babies!) housed in a walk in Omlet run, though Volkan is now kept separate for his own protection. Both girls and dad are not happy about the new boy in town! Volkan desperately needs some love and affection and his own hareem.
Looking to find a loving and safe new home where he will always get veterinary care if ever needed.

Prepared to travel a reasonable distance from Bournemouth for the right home and if you are close enough I will bring him to you myself.
