Description
Pippa came to us around three weeks ago after her previous owner sadly had to rehome her due to a house move. We were happy to take her in urgently, but now she’s ready to find her forever family.
She is a lovely, affectionate girl who would thrive in an active home. Like most young Springadors, she’s full of energy, very playful, and can be quite boisterous and vocal! She loves encouraging our other four dogs to play and chase her. She was a little nervous when she first arrived, but once she settled in, her happy, loving personality really shone through.
Pippa is currently living with our 5-year-old son and absolutely adores him, so we know she’s good with children. She can be a little bouncy, so younger children should be supervised, as with any energetic young dog.
She appears to be house-trained and has been clean since being with us. She is still learning her basic commands and will benefit from continued training. Her recall is excellent when off lead in a secure field, although she still needs work walking calmly on lead, especially near roads.
Pippa can be a little nervous and timid when meeting new people or in unfamiliar surroundings, and she’s a very light sleeper, often waking and wandering due to her previous routine. With patience, reassurance, and consistency, she settles well and becomes a wonderful companion.
Pippa is now looking for a loving, forever home where she’ll receive plenty of exercise, continued training, and all the love she deserves. If you think you could offer this beautiful girl the home she’s been waiting for, we’d love to hear from you.
