Iguana, often known as the Green Iguana or simply pet iguana, originates from tropical regions in Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. These reptiles are known for their striking physical traits including spiny crests along their backs, large dewlap (throat fan), and a distinctive "third eye" on the top of their heads that helps detect changes in light. Iguanas are primarily herbivorous, feeding on leaves, flowers, and fruit. They can grow quite large, sometimes reaching up to 5-7 feet in length, which requires owners to provide spacious enclosures. Their temperament can be somewhat territorial, especially males during the breeding season, so they might not be ideal for first-time reptile enthusiasts. However, they are intelligent creatures that can be hand-tamed with patience. Iguanas are suitable pets for those prepared to meet their specialized care needs like UVB lighting, humidity, and a suitable diet. In the UK market, iguana for sale and iguana pet keywords are common among buyers looking for these exotic lizards. Proper research and commitment are essential for anyone considering a green iguana for sale UK to ensure a healthy, thriving pet.

I brought him a little while ago, he's lovely but he doesn't have a Cites (the previous owner couldn't find it) this is why he's cheaper. He is becoming super tame, growing every day. I have 3, given the work i do with them i need to make sure they have a cites. As a pet, this guy would be AMAZING. But please remember, they get big and will need to come out DAILY
