💔 It is incredible what the right home... and the right people... can do.
When Yuki was returned to our rescue, she had already been through far too much. She was described as fearful of men, unable to trust them and anxious around them. After everything she had experienced, we couldn't blame her.
She had been living in a home where shouting, hostility and tension were part of everyday life. It wasn't men she feared. It was the way she had been treated.
❤️ Then one of our wonderful long-term foster families offered to help. Our foster dad admitted he was a little worried. There are several men in the household, including himself and his adult son, and naturally he wondered whether Yuki would struggle.
How wrong we all were... From the very first day, Yuki began to blossom. She follows them everywhere, asks for fusses, covers them in kisses and absolutely adores spending time with them. It turns out she doesn't dislike men at all.
She simply loves kind people.

🐾 More About Yuki
This is what her foster family said after only a few days...
"Yuki is a loving, affectionate girl. She is a little nervous at first, but once she settles down her true personality shines through. A house with a secure garden is a must as she loves being outside. She has had no accidents in the house and hasn't chewed anything of value, which considering she's still a puppy is amazing.
She's good on a lead and enjoys her walks. She can be a little excitable, but she's a puppy, so that's to be expected. She's a clever girl and with a little bit of training would be the perfect family dog.
She loves kids as well. Her and our 13-year-old son are little besties. She will be the best in home with another friendly resident dog to keep her company.
All in all, Yuki is a beautiful young girl who just needs a place to call home."
Honestly... we couldn't have described her better ourselves.
🏡 Yuki's Ideal Home
Yuki is looking for a family who will continue helping her confidence grow.
A secure garden is important because she loves being outdoors. She would be happiest with another friendly, playful resident dog, as she truly enjoys canine company and gains confidence from having a doggy friend around.
She would suit an active family willing to continue her training, include her in everyday life and give her the stability every young rescue deserves.
💞 Yuki has reminded us of something very important. Dogs don't judge people by whether they are men or women. They judge us by how we make them feel. Show Yuki kindness, patience and love, and she will give you her whole heart in return. Could yours be the family she's been waiting for? ❤️
