Meet Athena (they/them) unfortunately too young to sex.
I brought Athena off of here and rescued them about 6 months ago. Athena had no UV bulb and a very small tortoise table at their previous home. Athena has signs of pyramiding. The lady could not give me much information on Athena. She came with no documents and she could not tell me how old Athena was but says she thinks Athena is around 6 years. The lady I rescued Athena from had no previous vet documents either. My friend Lucy (who is a vet) has been checking her over and has said that she is in good health.
They have been staying with my other tortoise and have been keeping each other company for the last 6 months unfortunately due to having to downsize my house to a flat I’m unable to have them inside my flat. Although the landlord agreed as long as I am actively trying to give them a new life.
Athena has a gorgeous temperament. Athena will come up to the tortoise table and will absolutely destroy her weeds in seconds. Her favourite food is dandelions leaves and flowers.
Currently Athena is staying with my other tortoise (Atlas). They are staying in a 5ft bookcase to ensure they have lots of space to explore. When I was living in my house they had an outdoor run and lots of space to thrive which is would I would love Athena to have. Only Athena is up for sale as Atlas is pending collection.
