Name; Raya 🐶 Breed; Bulldog (Large, 40kg) 🐶 Age; approx 5 years 🐶 Sex; Female 🐶 Background; Came to us from deathrow at the dog pound as she was an unclaimed stray. 🐶 Personality; Raya is a super friendly girl with a beautiful nature who radiates love to everyone she meets. She is joyful and can be a bit ott with friendliness but she will respond well to some basic training. She is very food motivated so training will not be an issue. Raya always wants to be by your side and adores cuddles, she would sleep in your bed and be a bed buddy if allowed. She loves to play and plays fetch and tug well. She also self soothes and will still suckle on a blanket. 🕓 Left alone; Upto 5 hours 💩 House training; Yes 🚗 Travelling; Travels well 🏃‍♀️Exercise; Raya has lots of energy and will benefit from 2 long walks a day. She walks well on a lead but can be strong at times. ✂️Grooming; minimal grooming needed. 👀 Adopter Requirements; A bulldog savvy person or family who does not mind their personal space being invaded. 🏡 Home/garden needs; Raya needs direct access to a private secure yard/garden 👶Minimum age of children; 16years simply as she will jump up and could knock younger kids over 🐕Resident dogs (must be already neutered, this is not negotiable); Raya has been great with all the dogs she has met and can possibly live with a neutered dog(s) subject to a suitable meet and greet. 🐈 Cat tested; Raya needs a cat free home. 🩺 Medical issues; Raya breathes well especially for a bulldog. She could probably lose some weight as she is a bit chubby. Raya needs entropion surgery on 1 eye which we are planning to do at our HQ in Melling next week but her foster home cannot keep her beyond the 16th September so we are trying to line up a home for after her surgery as she will be very sad to recover in a kennel after getting used to being in foster. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and come with 5 weeks free insurance.
