Description
Where do we start. Its is with great sadness that we need to rehome my wifes furbaby. Her absolute world! But since we have had dave my wife has become extremly unwell and is now undergoing treatment a nurological brain disease that was found after a mri scan. Dave is my wife's dog she does everything for him walking, feeding everything he needs she gives him. Charlotte ( my wife) is not able to cope with everything whilst im at work and more days than not she is unable to get out of bed she is so unwell. I work full time so I help as much as I can but it’s costing a fortune to get someone in to help her with walking him. Her quality of life has gone downhill rapidly. Dave is 8 months old a brindle staffy x frenchie he has the biggest heart and full of excitement and loves the outdoors. He as a puppy still can be boistrous and he will need a strong hand with someone who understands the breed. Dave is crate trained but he hasn’t been left for more than a hour at a time. He is toilet trained and sleeps on or off our bed all night and generally only wakes up when we do so you can guarantee a lovely Sunday morning lay in!! Dave out on his lead has a tendency to pull but as well as a harness he also has a slip lead too. Dave lays down and submits to other dogs and he can also play bow he isn’t let off his lead at the moment as Dave‘s nose is to the floor most of the time sniffing around and ignoring my wife’s voice. It is an extension laid so he does have freedom. We also take him to dog parks that we hire in our area so we can take him off his lead and he can have a good run round with a ball which he thoroughly enjoys. Dave loves people and thinks everybody wants to say hello. He is very distinctive in his features so people are very keen to come over and enquire about him which he is happy to do. He does get very excited when people come to the house but putting him in his crate to calm him helps considerably. Dave is on a diet of tripe and other meets some I cook and some he is also on kibble and all natural foods his treats are generally sliced carrots or cucumber whilst we’re out on our walk he does have allergies to chicken and isn’t keen on lamb. He loves a hand bone and yaks. He isn’t possessive over toys or food. He has comment to contact with very small children but I would advise that teenage or above would be more suitable for him also to be the only pet in the house as he has not come across another dog in his home or a cat any more questions please feel free to ask David is a beautiful boy and it’s going to break our heart, but it’s not fair on him when my wife isn’t able to fulfil his needs
