And honestly... We came away smiling. Yes, Macho was a little unsure at first—but he had only been in his new foster home for a few days and was meeting completely new people, new dogs and a brand-new environment. That's entirely understandable. Within a very short time he was taking treats from my husband's hand and was comfortable meeting our male neighbour too. The funniest part? He completely fell in love with my little Dachshund girls. 💙 Even though they greeted him by barking rather rudely, Macho simply looked at them with admiration and wanted to make friends. He walks beautifully, loves exploring, is fully house-trained, sleeps well. What really stands out is just how much potential this lovely boy has. He doesn't need someone to "fix" him. He simply needs someone willing to give him a little time, a little patience and introduce him to new experiences gradually, without overwhelming him. Every day his confidence grows.
