We are Rustic Italian Volpino UK and we have some beautiful home-raised puppies of Volpino Italiano (Traditional Rustic Type) available.
The Volpino Italiano, also known as the Italian Little Fox, is still very rare in the UK, but it is very famous in Italy and historically considered the traditional dog of the Italian countryside. This breed is well known for its strong health, longevity and excellent resistance to different weather conditions (both cold and hot).
Both parents of the current litter are DNA tested against 206 genetic diseases and belong to a particular rustic bloodline appreciated for their natural fox-like appearance.
If you are looking for a strong, healthy and naturally beautiful companion, this could be the perfect breed for you.
The Volpino is suitable for many different types of owners. They usually adapt very well to family life and can live happily with children, other dogs and other animals.
They fit well into many different lifestyles:
walking or running in the park, city life, beach walks, countryside fields, mountain hiking trails, or simply relaxing at home with their family.
This particular rustic type of Volpino has a special coat that is slightly shorter than the show-type dogs, which means it does not require complex or expensive grooming.
