💔 Unfortunately, the girls’ trial home did not work out. Nobody’s fault. No drama. No bad dogs or wrong people.
Candy and Esmeralda arrived in the UK at the end of April full of hope for their forever home. Their family truly tried, loved them and gave them time. But after 3 weeks it became clear that Candy’s trust-building process would simply need much more time, calm and quiet than their current lifestyle could offer.
The couple are understandably social people who enjoy friends visiting, barbecues, company. The paused to allow girls to settle. But they can’t pause their life for too long. But for two sensitive little girls — especially gentle Candy — the perspective of many visitors and new faces will be clearly too overwhelming.
And instead of forcing them to “adapt faster,” the family made the kind and honest decision to help them find a calmer environment better suited to who they are.
🐾 Meet Candy & Esmeralda
These two small girls are around 9 months old and are deeply bonded. Together they bring out the best in one another and move through life side by side.

💔 Rescue Story
The girls were rescued as tiny abandoned puppies found wandering near rubbish bins in a small rural town in Ukraine. Since then, they have grown up together, slept curled into each other and formed an incredibly close emotional bond.
They travelled to the UK together and absolutely rely on each other for confidence, comfort and emotional security.
🐾 More About Esmeralda
Esmeralda is the more confident sister — bright, funny, curious and eager to be involved in everything.
She happily follows her humans around the house, supervises the garden like a tiny neighbourhood watch officer and absolutely loves cuddles in the evenings. She adores squeaky toys, chew enrichments and being near her people.
She settles quickly and naturally helps Candy feel safer in new situations.
🐾 More About Candy
Candy is the softer, more delicate soul. She tends to trust women a bit more from start, as probably large men seems too large for this tiny girl. But that’s just a matter of time.
The long journey and huge life change overwhelmed her deeply, and while she is playful and happy in the garden with Esmeralda, she still needs time before fully trusting people physically again.
At her foster in Ukraine she was actually very affectionate and loving cuddles, often asking for more and more, so we know this loving side is still there — she simply needs patient, quiet people who will not rush her.
She may bark when startled or unsure at the moment, but this is anxiety, not aggression, and already improving slowly as she settles.
🐾 Their Daily Life
The girls are beautifully behaved in the home — non-destructive when given their favorite horns and hooves to chew, gentle and funny little companions.
They absolutely love spending time outdoors in the garden and this is honestly ESSENTIAL for them. They are outdoorsy little souls who enjoy grass, fresh air, rolling around, exploring and simply lying in the sunshine together for hours.
A secure private garden with easy free access in and out is extremely important for their confidence and happiness.
They adore squeaky toys and slowly collect them into their crate like tiny treasure hunters. They are mostly quiet dogs and not big barkers overall.
They are still puppies — playful, active and joyful — but they are not ready yet for busy outside walks or urban life. It may take another 4–5 weeks before they feel confident enough to start exploring outside environments safely.
They are NOT suitable for busy city life, traffic-heavy areas or noisy urban environments.
Their perfect home would be rural or semi-rural, with fields, woodland or quiet greenery nearby, where life feels slower, calmer and more predictable.
🏡 Ideal Home
Candy and Esmeralda need a calm, patient adult-only home with kind people who will simply allow them to settle in their own time.
No pressure. No too big expectations for immediate trust. No rushing physical affection before they are ready.
They do not need “experienced” owners. They simply need loving humans who understand that trust sometimes grows slowly — and beautifully.
A quiet loving home, secure grassy garden and peaceful surroundings are essential for them.
And in return?
Once they feel safe, they will reward their people with the gentlest love, sweetest companionship and the kind of quiet loyalty that feels incredibly special because it was earned slowly and honestly. ❤️
They will come with food, toys, chews, hooves and their belongings to help them settle comfortably into their future home.

Both girls are healthy, vaccinated and microchipped.
Not yet spayed due to young age (spaying agreement applies).
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
