Blacky is around 1 year old, a small-size Dachshund cross girl — cheerful, affectionate, clever and full of personality.
Anyone who has ever shared their life with a Dachshund knows their particular kind of magic. ❤️ You may think you're going to train them... and somewhere along the way discover they've actually trained YOU. 😁 Clever, cheeky, loving and endlessly charming, they have a remarkable talent for making their humans love them completely and forever.
And Blacky has plenty of that Dachshund magic.

💔 Rescue Story
Blacky was rescued from Zaporizhzhia in south-******************n Ukraine — a region that has lived through years of war, repeated Russian missile and drone attacks, explosions and air-raid alerts.
She had been left behind when people fled. We don't know exactly what happened to her family, only that this little former pet suddenly found herself without the people and home she had known.
She was evacuated west to safety. But safety is only the first step — Blacky is still waiting for a family and a proper home again.
🐾 More About Blacky
Blacky currently lives in a multi-dog foster home in a Ukrainian village. She sleeps indoors with other dogs, keeps her living space clean and toilets outside. Her lead walking is coming along well and just needs normal continued practice.
She is a happy, playful girl who loves canine company — particularly, rather amusingly, bigger dogs. 😁 She gathers toys around herself like a little collector but happily shares them when her friends want to play.
For reasons we don't know, she is uncomfortable around men and may bark at them. She can approach, sniff and even take a treat, then step away and bark again. No aggression— she just seems simply unsure and uses barking in this case to express her feelings.
Her ideal home would therefore be a female household, although a patient man who understands not to force friendship may also be possible. Her confidence may grow with positive experiences, but Blacky should be loved for exactly who she is today. ❤️
Cats don't particularly interest her. Chickens are another matter entirely, and pigeons apparently require immediate removal from Blacky's territory. 🤦♀️😄
🏡 Ideal Home
Blacky would love a secure garden, plenty of walks and play, and people who appreciate a clever little dog with character.
A friendly resident dog would be a wonderful bonus — she genuinely enjoys canine companionship and could have great fun with a playful friend.
Most importantly, she needs people who will enjoy Blacky rather than expect her to be perfect: her affection, her games, her toy collection, her Dachshund opinions and all. ❤️
💞 She is young, healthy, affectionate, funny, dog-friendly and absolutely full of life.
Somewhere there must be a home missing exactly this little bit of Dachshund magic.❤️

Blacky is fully healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (approved laboratory certificate provided).
