🐾 Meet Pepper – A Loyal Girl Looking for a Fresh Start 🐾 Pepper is a beautiful 6-year-old Romanian rescue who has been cherished by the same family since she arrived in the UK as a puppy. Sadly, following an incident with the other resident dog, her family have made the heartbreaking decision to find her a home where she can be happier and more relaxed. Pepper absolutely adores people. She is incredibly affectionate with her family and greets visitors with a wagging tail, always keen to make new friends. She enjoys cuddles, playing ball and spending time with the people she loves. ✨ About Pepper ✔️ 6 years old ✔️ Female ✔️ Neutered ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Fully vaccinated ✔️ House trained ✔️ Crate trained at night ✔️ Can be left for up to 3–4 hours ✔️ Travels well ✔️ Happy to be groomed (although not as keen on having her claws clipped) ✔️ Food motivated and enjoys reward-based training ✔️ Loves playing ball and exploring secure outdoor spaces Pepper is happiest around people and would love to be someone’s loyal companion. 🐕 What Pepper Needs Pepper must be the only dog in the home. Although she has lived with another dog for many years, resource guarding and guarding behaviour around the family has escalated and recently resulted in an altercation with the other resident dog. For everyone’s happiness, she is looking for a home where she won’t need to share her space with another pet. On walks, Pepper becomes very alert when on the lead and will bark and lunge towards unfamiliar dogs. Interestingly, when she is off lead in suitable, secure environments she is much more relaxed and is happy to play appropriately with other dogs. She would benefit from owners who understand this behaviour and are happy to continue managing her walks while helping to build her confidence. 🏡 Pepper’s Ideal Home ❤️ An adult-only or sensible older-children home. ❤️ No other dogs or pets. ❤️ A secure garden where she can enjoy playing and relaxing. ❤️ Owners who enjoy enrichment, games and spending time together. ❤️ Someone looking for an affectionate companion who will reward them with endless love.
