Kai 💙 and Gerda ❤️ are 2 years old are a bonded pair of lower-medium dogs (below the knee), calm, thoughtful, and deeply connected — both to each other and to people.
They feel like a brother and sister from a fairy tale — like Kai and Gerda from the Snow Queen — bound by loyalty, supporting each other through everything, and still open-hearted to the world around them.
Adopting them together has many wonderful advantages. They will settle much faster in a new home, unlikely to struggle with separation anxiety, entertain each other when people are busy and sleep peacefully at night knowing their best friend is nearby. 💔 Rescue Story
Kai and Gerda were abandoned together in a small rural town in Western Ukraine, sadly famous for animal cruelty, a place where dogs are rarely safe.
There were three of them. Another young white boy with blue eyes didn’t survive. He was found killed. Kai lost his eye. But Kai and Gerda stayed together. Through everything. And they still are.

They live in a small private shelter now, but walk beautifully on the lead and are very easy to handle.
They approach people gently — not pushing, not demanding — but always hoping to be called closer. They don’t impose themselves, but you can feel how much they want to be near.
They are calm and well balanced by nature, thoughtful, and incredibly well-mannered. They listen, they understand, they don’t create noise or chaos.
There is something very special about them — a quiet dignity, a softness, and a deep emotional connection not only to each other, but also to people.
Kai, despite losing one eye, lives fully and confidently — it does not limit him in any way.

Separation is not an option for them and they are looking for home together, where there will be place and love for both.
They would suit a calm, loving home where their gentle nature will be appreciated.
A house with a garden, a peaceful rural or semi-rural environment, and people who value quiet companionship.

Both are fully healthy, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Kai has lost one eye due to past trauma, but this does not affect his quality of life.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
