Description
I’m looking for a very specific, experienced home for my dog due to a change in personal circumstances and lifestyle. This has not been an easy decision.
She is a large dog with an anxious temperament and will need an owner who understands reactive behaviour and is willing to continue working with her at her pace.
About her:
• Female, large breed (or mix – specify if known)
• Anxious around people and other dogs
• Needs a quiet, low-stimulation environment
• Not suitable for homes with children or other pets
• Can be unpredictable when overwhelmed (will warn with a nip, no serious bite history)
• Struggles with vets – requires sedation for handling
• Has been assessed as an anxious dog and may require ongoing behavioural support or medication
The kind of home she needs:
• Experienced dog owner (essential)
• Someone familiar with anxious/reactive dogs
• Calm, patient, and consistent environment
• Ideally a rural or quiet home
• No children, no other pets
• Someone who is not expecting a “social” or easy dog

• With the right person, she has the potential to feel secure and settled
Reason for rehoming:
I am a full-time working single parent and, despite trying to make it work, I cannot provide the consistent environment and time she truly needs. This is about finding her the right long-term setup, not passing her on quickly.
