Bear is a stunning, high-energy boy with a heart of gold, currently looking for a new home in a child-free environment. He is incredibly social, curious, and thrives when he is around his people.
Personality & Drive:
Bear has a very high work drive, he loves to be busy and explore his surroundings. While he is not aggressive by nature, he has a high physical drive and is a large, powerful dog. He is at his best when he is being challenged mentally or physically.
Training & Boundaries:
House Trained: 100% house trained and well-behaved indoors when his boundaries are respected.
Motivation: Bear is unique in that he is not food or treat motivated. Standard "bribe" training doesn't work with him; he requires a handler who understands how to use play, praise, and toy drive to communicate.
Lead Work: He must be walked on a lead at all times. His curiosity and drive mean he will follow his nose or a target, so a secure lead and a strong handler are a must.
Respects Adults: He shows great respect to his primary handlers and is a "chilled-out" companion in an adult-only setting.
