Meet Buddy ❤️
This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to write.
Buddy is my 20-month-old Golden Retriever, and due to a combination of divorce, moving home, and now working full-time, I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision that I need to find him a new family.
This is absolutely through no fault of his own. In fact, that’s what makes it so difficult.
Buddy is everything you would hope a young Golden Retriever would be. He’s affectionate, gentle, friendly, and genuinely loves being around people. He’s great with other dogs, walks beautifully, and is happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing. Whether that’s a countryside walk, a lazy afternoon in the garden, or sitting outside a pub hoping someone might share a few pork scratchings.
He has brought so much laughter and companionship into my life, and if circumstances were different, he wouldn’t be going anywhere.
I’m not looking for just any home. I’m looking for the right home. Somewhere he will be loved, included, exercised, and given the time and attention that a young Golden Retriever deserves. Ideally, I’d love him to be with a family or individual who has the time to enjoy him and make him part of everyday life.
This decision comes from wanting what’s best for Buddy, even though it breaks my heart.

He means the world to me, and finding the right people for him is my only priority.
