Cane Corso – Loving Home Wanted It is with a very heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to look for a new home for my Cane Corso. This is absolutely no fault of his own, and rehoming him is not something I want to do. It is a decision I am making because I have a baby on the way and need to put my baby’s safety first. He is still a young, energetic puppy and can be extremely bouncy and excitable. Unfortunately, he has started jumping up at me and onto my stomach, which has become a genuine concern during my pregnancy. I am worried that, as he gets bigger and stronger, he could accidentally cause harm to either myself or the baby. This decision is going to break my heart because he is a truly loving and affectionate dog. He loves cuddles, enjoys being around other dogs, and is good with children. He has a wonderful temperament and deserves a home where he can receive the time, attention, exercise and love that he needs. Realistically, I believe the best home for him would be with someone who has plenty of outdoor space, such as a large secure garden, a field or a farm, and who has the time and experience to continue training and caring for a large, energetic breed. I want to make it clear that I am not rehoming him because he is a bad dog. Quite the opposite — I love him deeply, and this is an incredibly difficult decision for me. I simply want to find him a home where he can thrive and receive everything he deserves, while allowing me to keep my unborn baby safe. My priority is finding the right home, rather than simply finding him a new home. I would want to make sure that anyone interested genuinely understands the commitment of owning a Cane Corso and can give him the love, space, exercise and attention he needs for the rest of his life.
