Description
Frank is a beautiful young ginger domestic mediumhair. After a tough start in life, living with around 34 other cats, Frank really deserves a super special home of his own.
Frank can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take him long to come out of his shell. Once he feels comfortable, he is incredibly gentle, affectionate and lovable. He really enjoys companionship, likes to be close to his people and is always very happy to have a cuddle.
We suspect Frank would particularly enjoy a home where someone is around quite a bit, as he does like having people available to tend to his very important needs! However, he would be fine to be left for a working day. He could potentially live with older children too who are calm and used to cats.
Frank came into rescue with Toby and Penelope, but as time went on it became clear that Frank was becoming increasingly unhappy sharing his space and he began picking on Toby. Since moving into a foster home on his own, he is absolutely thriving and very much enjoying being the only cat and having all the attention to himself. For this reason, we are looking for a home where Frank can be the only cat. He has never been around dogs and would probably find them quite frightening.
He has a lovely playful side and is particularly attached to his favourite toy mouse. Frank is also quite vocal with his humans when he wants something, which generally means either food or a cuddle.
He is becoming increasingly curious about the outside world, so once fully settled into his new home, Frank would love safe access to a garden where he can explore.
Frank really is a wonderful, affectionate character who deserves a family of his own. We think he will make an incredibly loving companion for the right home.
Frank previously tested positive for Giardia and Campylobacter, both of which have now been treated. However, his tummy can still be quite sensitive and we suspect he may have some damage to his gut as a result.
Due to his previous gastrointestinal history, exclusions are likely to apply to pet insurance. Please do not apply for Frank unless you are financially able to cover any veterinary treatment needed.
