šŸ¾ For Sale ā€“ Loving 2-Year-Old Male Cocker Spaniel ā€“ Henry šŸ¾ It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a special new home for our much-loved Cocker Spaniel, Henry. This has not been an easy decision, so finding the right home is far more important to us than a quick sale. About Henry Henry is nearly 3 years old and is a beautiful, affectionate, and gentle boy who absolutely thrives on human company. He has grown up around childrenā€”including our young sonā€”and is incredibly patient, calm, and loving with them. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give him a treat (he wonā€™t say no to a sausage!) and a little time, and heā€™ll quickly become your loyal companion who loves nothing more than cuddles and attention. Personality & Temperament * Gentle, kind, and very affectionate * Brilliant with children and friendly with other dogs * Submissive, sensitive, and has never shown any aggression * Loves companionship and being part of family life * Not food or toy aggressive Henry would ideally suit a home with another friendly dog, as he absolutely loves to play and previously had a close bond with our family dog. Routine & Training * Fully house trained * Great recall (still improving around other dogs) * Walks well on a long lead * Settles nicely indoors and loves finding a cosy spot to relax * Loves walks and adores the beach Things to Note Henry is a sensitive boy and occasionally needs gentle encouragement to go outside, especially in colder weather. If he feels pressured, he may lie on his back in submission. A home with easy outdoor access (like a garden with shelter or a porch) would really help him thrive. What Comes With Henry * His bed * Food supplies * A few toys (though he prefers socks and ā€œtreasuresā€ he finds himself!) The Home Weā€™re Looking For We are looking for a loving, patient home where Henry will receive plenty of attention and continue to build his confidence. A home with another dog would be ideal, but most importantly, he needs a family who will truly cherish him. Henry has been a huge part of our family since he was 14 weeks old, and he really is a special dog with so much love to give. If we donā€™t find the right home, we are prepared to keep himā€”we simply want the very best for him. If you feel you could offer Henry the forever home he deserves, please get in touch and tell us a little about yourself. Please note the ā€œmotherā€ picture is also Henry. It wonā€™t let me change that for some reason. Henryā€™s mother was a small black and white working cocker and the father we think was a sprocker.
