Hatched 11/04/26 - Available All come with: Uniquely marked closed leg ring DNA Sexing certificate Sample of current pellet food Recently applied anti-parasite spot-on £80 for 1 £150 for 2 £280 for all 4 ---------- * I have 1 small carrier which can hold 1 bird, available for an extra £5, on a first-come-first-serve basis. * I also have a Large single height Vision bird cage which I no longer am keeping which is free, again first-come-first-serve only when purchasing a/some birds. You must be be able to pick this up yourself, only comes with food/water dishes(No toys, perches, etc) and it is used so would benefit from a clean. ---------- * They are familiar with both a bowl and a bottle for water * They are fed a base diet of Hagen Tropican 2mm Lifetime pellets, along with portions of fruit, veg, and mixed seeds. * They have been raised indoors, but this species can adapt to living outdoors in an aviary, and can live with similarly sized bird species in an aviary setting. * Mother is turquoise, father is dark green(Turq. carrier) ---------- PLEASE NOTE: * These birds aren't hand-reared, but they have been handled whilst young, so they aren't full tame, but are familiar with hands and will come to take food from hands and climb on hands when feeling confident. * I will not be using couriers, you must be able to pick up the bird(s) from the Trafford area. There is a potential, although not guaranteed, that I could deliver them within the Manchester area for additional cost. ---------- Please make sure you are familiar with linnies and their specific traits: * They are about the same size as a budgie but with shorter wings/tail, they often prefer climbing to flying, and can be a bit clumsy when flying. * They are known to produce larger poops than birds of a similar size * This species is known to be nervous of hands, and require a patient owner who is willing to go at the bird's pace when it comes to taming. I have made sure they are used to hands, will come to take seeds from an open palm or pinched fingers, and generally not as instinctively afraid as unhandled linnies are, but they will still be cautious initially. * This species are known to like to sneak and hide in blankets when free roaming, so take care to not squish them. * Linnies are one of the quieter species of pet birds, and even their quiet chatter is much less piercing than budgies, however like any bird they can make loud noises. * Like any bird, they need social interaction so you must be sure they aren't left on their own too much if you only want 1 bird.
