Hi. It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to rehome Rocky. He was my dad’s dog and as my dad has recently passed, I don’t have the time that he needs. I work everyday and he’s constantly on his own even after I’ve finished work and it’s cruel and he deserves a whole lot better than I can currently give him. Rocky is a lovable baby. He is boisterous when you first meet him or when he is greeting people and he does bark and jump but it’s only because he’s excited, give him 10 minutes and he calms down and just wants to snuggle and kiss. He’s a brilliant dog and even writing this is breaking my heart. He does pull on a lead and this is another reason as to why he deserves better as I struggle to walk him so he doesn’t get what he needs there either. He gets on with dogs as long as proper introductions are done but he does prefer female dogs. He’s brilliant with cats . He hasn’t been around babies/kids enough for me to be fully comfortable saying he’s good with them but when he has been around my nephew and cousins he’s fine. He just jumps which is quite scary to kids. He’s a lazy lump that honestly just loves to lounge of the sofa. He’s house trained and knows basic commands but he’s really clever and does tend to learn quite quick.
