Charlie is a home-bred KC reg chocolate Labrador. He has an amazing temperament and is a really easy dog, he lives in my home as part of the family with 4 cats and is great with children. Charlie has been extensively genetic tested for the following conditions and is clear on all counts: Centronuclear myopathy (CNM) - CLEAR Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) - CLEAR Exercise-Induced Collapse (EIC) - CLEAR Hyperuricosuria (HUU) - CLEAR Hereditary nasal parakeratosis (HNPK) - CLEAR Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-PRCD) (PRA-PRCD) - CLEAR Skeletal Dysplasia 2 (SD2) - CLEAR Achromatopsia (Cone Degeneration) - CLEAR Alexander Disease - CLEAR Cystinuria Type 1A - CLEAR Elliptocytosis - CLEAR Myotubular myopathy 1 (MTM1) - CLEAR Narcolepsy - CLEAR Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-CORD1/PRA-crd4) (PRA-CORD1 or PRA-crd4) - CLEAR Copper Toxicosis (Wilsons Disease) (CSD) - CLEAR Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) - CLEAR Charlie has also been recently eye tested and has a BVA certificate to say that he is all CLEAR Charlie’s semen has been analysed, is all heathy and are in figures of 538 million per ml which is above average. Charlies dad was a yellow lab (meaning Charlie carries the (e) locus and will produce yellow/red pups with the correct bitch). I would be happy to talk with owners that would potentially like to use Charlie and discuss what colours they could expect from the mating. I would also be happy to provide support during pregnancy and whelping to local owners and will only be at the end of the phone should assistance be needed.
