Description

This is Axle, a beautiful 4 year old German Shepherd who is looking for a new home due to a change in his owner's work commitments. This is absolutely through no fault of Axle's own. He is a much loved member of the family, which is why finding the right home for him is far more important to us than simply finding someone quickly. Axle has an absolutely lovely temperament. He's affectionate, loving, loyal and very family orientated. He has spent a lot of time around two children and, as you can probably see from the photos, he loves being part of the family and being close to people. We would ideally love to see him go to a family home or someone who has plenty of time to give him the companionship, attention and exercise that a German Shepherd needs. This isn't a case of first person to message gets the dog. We want to speak properly with anyone interested, find out a little about their home and circumstances, and make sure Axle and his new owner are genuinely a good match. There is no intention whatsoever to make money from rehoming him - the priority is finding Axle a permanent, loving home where he will be looked after for the rest of his life. We would also really appreciate finding somebody who wouldn't mind keeping in occasional contact afterwards, even if it's just the odd photo or update, because his family understandably still care very much about him and would love to know he's settled and happy. If you think you could offer Axle the home he deserves, please send a message telling us a little about yourself, your household, any experience you have with dogs/German Shepherds, and the sort of life Axle would have with you. Serious, genuine enquiries only please. A suitable home is far more important than distance, speed or money. We reserve the right to say no if we don't feel the home is right for Axle.
