Keeka is a calm, affectionate senior boy who is ready to trade in the hustle of life for comfort, warmth, and companionship. Described as “dead placid,” he is a beautifully gentle cat who spends most of his time napping, often curled up on his heat pad, and enjoying the quieter side of life.
He is a loving companion who enjoys following his person around the house - especially to the kitchen - and will ask for claps when he’s in the mood. He particularly enjoys gentle scratches around his ears and neck, and once settled, will happily keep you company on the sofa. With a little support such as pet steps, he’ll be right beside you for cosy evenings.
Though he is a laid-back older gentleman, Keeka still has a playful spark. He will fight off a stuffed mouse that dangles from a wandy toy, carefully waiting to give a fierce hit with his paw at just the right moment. He also has a soft spot for treats (especially a bit of ham), which is a reliable way to win his heart.
Keeka is generally good with people and will accept pets from new faces, though he may step away if things feel too busy. With children, he tends to take his time, often hiding behind the telly for alone time.
