Quick Facts - 14 years old - Male - lead trained and LOVES lounging on the grass on a sunny day Keeka is a calm, affectionate senior boy who is ready to plop down on the couch with you! Described as “dead placid,” he is a beautifully gentle cat who spends most of his time napping. He also enjoys an afternoon out on his lead in a sunny spot. He lost his owner last year and was a bit withdrawn when we first got him. He has since come out of his shell and is even enjoying meeting friends that his fosters have over. He is a loving companion who enjoys following his person around the house - especially to the kitchen - and will ask for claps. He particularly enjoys gentle scratches around his ears and neck will happily keep you company on the sofa. Keeka can be a playful boy. He will fight off a stuffed mouse that dangles from a wandy toy, carefully waiting to give a fierce hit with his paw at just the right moment. He also has a soft spot for treats (especially a bit of ham)! Ideal Home - Calm, quiet household - could be compatible with other cats and dogs and kids who are on the quieter /chiller side - Happy to support a senior cat with medical needs (accommodations such as stairs and heat pad) - indoor or indoor/outdoor on a lead - yes, he is lead trained! Health Notes: Keeka has arthritis, early kidney disease, and dental disease (managed with daily gabapentin tablet and kidney diet food plan). He takes his pill very well and loves his new renal diet. Our adoption fee is sliding scale and we are now running a senior cat adoption promo, which means that adoption fees range from £50 - £100 per cat depending on post code of adopter.
