Beautiful Blue & Tan, entire, 2 year old Dachshund. Really athletic stamp of a sausage. Microchipped & Up to date with flea/ worm treatment. House trained & doesn’t scent despite being unneutered.
Very sweet long man, currently living with 7 other dogs quite happily. He’s not so keen on the biggest doggo so think he’d appreciate a home with some other small/medium sized pooches.
Cyril has led a relatively sheltered life so is unsure of new situations and people, when he feels threatened or uncomfortable he will bark. Although he is a quick learner and is happy to take on the world as long as he has his person!
Good on and off the lead, recall is intermittent but improving! He’s very much a velcro dog so doesn’t like to be too far anyway.
Cyril is a typical sausage, likes to voice his opinion but is the most devoted companion and would live in your pocket if you’d let him. He bonds very quickly and deeply to his person! Because of this, he does display mild separation anxiety. I feel this will improve no doubt once he is 100% settled in his forever home and with a solid routine. He has already come on so well in the short space he’s been staying with us.
So far Cyril has appeared fearful of men, although he is growing in confidence with my partner, I feel he only barks at him sometimes
now because he knows I find it funny . I’m sure he’ll change his opinions with persistent love and care!
If he could talk, he’d ask for a nice lady and/ or inoffensive man who is around most of the day. He’d be happy with some dog savvy children - Where he maybe has one or two other small/ medium friends. Could possibly live with a brave cat I believe!
This handsome little man has so much love to give and will make the best little soulmate!
