TIA AND CALLIE ARE IN THE CARE OF LURCHER LINK RESCUE
These two were originally found straying in a pitifully thin state, had open wounds and were very scared. They’ve lived together in a home for over a year now and are in much better shape, but sadly their owner is no longer able to keep them.
💚Both girls are estimated to be about 3 years old.
💚Both girls have very loving temperaments and are great with other dogs.
💚CALLIE is super friendly, confident and loves people and children. She's a complete lapdog and will happily lay on the sofa all day. Callie walks beautifully on the lead.
💚TIA is a beautiful kind young dog and once she trusts you she is a loving loyal dog. Tia loves playing with other dogs and walks nicely on the lead.
‼ Tia takes a while to become confident in new situations and is very nervous with strangers. She is a flight-risk and will need to be walked in a secure 3-point-harness to keep her safe. She depends on Callie and follows her like a shadow.
❌Not suitable to live with cats. The girls have a high-prey drive and will need a secure garden.
💚Fine with kids; but because of Tia's nervousness any children will need to be sensible and not loud.
TIA is very dependent on CALLIE, so we are ideally looking for a home for both of them together. However realistically we appreciate it's difficult to find people willing to take on two dogs at once; so rather than keep them in kennels indefinitely we will reluctantly split them up, as long as Tia is rehomed with another confident dog.
