Description
This advert is putting feelers out there and not a definite sale as I’m very reluctant to find him a new home. He is a 4 year old sulphur crested cockatoo, he is a very sweet boy, I didn’t get munching about him only that he was going to used to breed and it never happened. He has been humanised to a degree but not fully like he will fly onto you and he loves cuddles but he doesn’t just step up like you’d expect. He does talk a lot and he dances. He needs a home with no children ideally as he has shown aggression towards children and also anyone that he doesn’t choose as his mate. This is my reason for this. I have a young child which he was fine with but since bonding with me has turned. He would definitely need to be a bird only home, he doesn’t show aggression to other birds but it’s just the amount of attention he needs. When he is out he can become very protective over his chosen person and he can be very nasty towards anyone else but this doesn’t show immediately it comes from nowhere. He would need a couple of weeks settling in by staying in his cage before contact. He is very sweet to his chosen person which makes this incisively difficult for me. Spalding lincolnshire
