š¶ Charlieās Story š¶
Charlie was found as a very young puppy at the side of a road, still wearing a chain around his neck. It is believed he either escaped or was deliberately chased away from a rural property, where he had likely been kept tethered and used as a guard dog despite his young age.
When rescued, Charlie was in poor condition and limping badly, prompting immediate veterinary attention.

Charlie was examined by an orthopaedic specialist and X-rays were taken. These showed no catastrophic fractures, but signs consistent with developmental orthopaedic stress, likely linked to early tethering, restricted movement and poor early conditions.
The veterinary team advised against surgery at this stage due to Charlieās young age and active growth plates. Instead, a conservative and modern approach was recommended:

ā¢ Controlled, limited exercise
ā¢ Muscle strengthening
ā¢ Careful monitoring during growth
This approach offers an excellent chance of improvement as Charlie matures.

Despite everything he has endured, Charlie is an incredibly loving and joyful puppy. He is friendly with people, very social with other dogs, affectionate, curious and emotionally resilient. Charlie truly chooses happiness every day.

Based on Charlieās appearance and structure, we believe he may be a mix of German Shepherdātype, Romanian or Carpathian Shepherdātype, with possibly Collie or other herding influence.

Charlie is looking for a calm, loving home with adopters willing to follow veterinary advice regarding exercise. A secure garden would be ideal. He is not suitable for a working or guard role.
