Description

Due to a change in circumstances I am looking to rehome Lenny, A long haired miniature dachshund recently had him castrated last week as I want him to go to a pet only home final check up tomorrow with the vet. Last Picture is of dad added also for you to see , I have no pictures of mum but we met her along with the rest of the litter. Lenny gets on well with other dogs he is very submissive and rolls over or initiates play with a bark and has been brought up with a cat (grumpy 9yr old) so I am sure he thinks he’s part cat . Lenny also lives with my son who’s 13 and daughter 14 not really been around smaller children will get excited when nieces and nephews visit. Lenny has been with us since 8 weeks has no health issues few vet visits once when he scratched his eye out on a walk so required antibiotic drops last year and another when he ate something the vet thinks was poisonous so had a hospital stay early last year . Other than that he’s a healthy happy boy, Loves a snuggle I mean snuggle full on space invader . He weighs only 4.7kg so very small he will however let you know when someone is remotely near the house and will bark when someone enters typical dachshund behaviour. He loves to play with toys no issues with toys or food he even shares his water with the cat when she fancies some. He loves exploring we use a long lead so have never let him off however when he’s at a secure dog park recalls quiet good even better when a treat is involved. Travels well in the car no issues even has his own car seat but likes to sit next to someone weather that’s in the back or the front . Received his puppy vacs and is microchipped wormed and flea treated. Sleeps on his own in the kitchen however has occasionally snuck up and snuggled up in bed .
