Description
Cosmos & Lupin are a bonded pair of approx 4 month old brothers. They came in to rescue recently as part of an accidental litter who the owners were unable to sell. Their 2 sisters (who came in to rescue before the boys) were rehomed by us last month and their other brother, Dandelion, is also available for adoption with another kitten. With us, Cosmos and Lupin have been neutered, started vaccinations, microchipped and given flea and worm treatment.
Cosmos and Lupin initially seemed shy but very quickly settled in to their foster home, where they are very affectionate and playful boys. Lupin is the more confident of the pair and is unfazed by visitors - he will straight away ask for strokes, and hop in to their lap! Cosmos takes a little longer to warm up but once you’ve stroked him it doesn’t take long before he’s purring madly. Lupin is vocal and has a cute little croaking meow which he uses when he wants attention or wants Cosmos to come to him.
Cosmos and Lupin are very playful and love their toys, tunnel, climbing and playfighting. They will be looking for a home where there are people around most of the time and where they’ll get loads of attention and stimulation to keep them busy. They have so much love and fun to offer and will be wonderful additions to a family.
The boys are very similar looking but can be told apart because Lupin has some white hairs on his chest (as well as them having different personalities). In their foster home Lupin wears an orange collar and Cosmos wears a green one. They are in foster in Reading.
Rehoming criteria:
- Suitable for first time owners
- Can potentially live with another playful young cat
- Can potentially live with a cat savvy dog
- Can live with older children
- Will need outdoor access to a garden
The minimum adoption fee is £205 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
