Description

We are looking for a loving, permanent home for our 10-month-old female Cane Corso x Rhodesian Ridgeback due to a change in personal circumstances. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but we can no longer provide the environment or time that she deserves. She is a loving and affectionate dog once she has built trust with you. She is naturally nervous and can be cautious around people she doesn’t know, so she needs someone who will be patient and allow her to settle at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys attention and being around her family. As she is still a young dog, she is energetic and can become quite boisterous when excited. She will benefit from continued training, routine and positive reinforcement. She would be best suited to an experienced owner who has knowledge of large breeds and understands nervous dogs. A calm home with a secure garden would be ideal. We feel she would thrive with someone who has the time and commitment to build her confidence. She can become overexcited around other dogs and would need careful introductions. Because of her size and enthusiasm, we believe she would be best suited as the only pet and in a home with older children or adults. Our priority is finding her the right forever home rather than making a profit. We are happy to answer any questions and would like to ensure she goes to someone who can offer her the love, patience and commitment she deserves.
